Q. When installing the A-Arms, what is the recommended toe-in?
A. 1/16" on each side.
Q. When installing the A-Arms, how do I tell which side of the ATV do they go on?
A. The "HOUSER" name is towards the front of the bike.
Q. On a Honda 400EX, when do I have to run extended brake lines?
A. If you purchase our regular +1 A-Arms the standard stock brake lines will work. Any wider size A-Arm will require extended brake lines. Many riders like to use stainless steel braided brake lines that do not expand when the brakes are applied, thus giving quicker response.
Q. If I install a HOUSER 400EX +1.25 Swing Arm, how much longer does the chain need to be?
A. The chain needs to be about 2 1/2" longer than stock.
Q. I followed the directions when installing the A-Arms, but I still can't get the camber to 3-4 degrees.
A. Most of the time you can achieve the right camber by placing the nut on the other side of the Houser ball joint.
