Q. Does HOUSER Racing sell brake lines?
A. Yes.
Q. What is stock wheel travel?
A. It depends on what bike, but on average it is 8 1/2" to 9."
Q. Why would a rider use a +1 or +2 Steering Stem?
A. Sometimes a taller rider will use a higher handlebar than a regular one, or if a bike has a big cross-country gas tank a +2 will be used for clearance. If a rider is using a Pro-taper handle bar which is 1" lower that normally, a +1will return the bar to stock height.
Q. I have a swing arm and wish to seal the slot in the back of the bearing housing. What do I use?
A. You can use a good quality clear silicon sealer found at any home improvement center.
Q. Why do I have to run a HOUSER Steering Stem with the HOUSER Z-400 A-Arms?
A. The Z-400 and the older Cannondale models require a HOUSER Steering Stem to be used with the HOUSER A-Arms or the tie-rods will interfere with the frame. Using the HOUSER Steering Stem improves the "bump" steer effect found with the stock set-up.
Q. If I purchase a Swing Arm, what is included?
A. Needle bearings, thrust bearings, grease seals and grease zerks.
Q. Do A-Arms come with tie rods?
A. A-Arm kits include tie rods. They also include ball joints for regular travel A-Arms and Heim joints for long-travel A-Arms.
Q. What is the purpose of the WristRester©?
A. The Wristrester© is a well-engineered product that helps to absorb impact when the rider lands a jump or on a bumpy ride in the woods. It puts less stress on the rider¹s wrists. Once you ride with one you, will not want to ride without one.
Q. What housing is on the Suzuki/Kawasaki Swing Arm?
A. It is a roundhouse style bearing housing similar to the Honda design, but uses a special Houser bearing carrier that is 1/2" wider than the Honda.
